TARE-ee, teh-RAY, or TEER?

With an oddly spelled first name and a last name that's not pronounced like the food conglomerate, here's a little help pronouncing Tere's name:

• Tere (TARE-ee) rhymes with Mary and Larry. Just like those who spell it Teri or Terri, Tere is a nickname for Teresa: in her case, the -sa is simply lopped off.

• The -ou sound in Stouffer has the same sound as house, scout, and about. (It does not have the -ou sound in dough, soul, and poultry.) House, Stouffer. Scout, Stouffer. About, Stouffer. Easy-peasy.
